For the past 11 years, Dawgma has proudly partnered with Judith Creed Horizons for Achieving Independence, a local organization providing vocational services for adults of all ability. Our team has created lasting connections with JCHAI members through our annual immersive STEM program. Over the course of six weekly sessions, Dawgma provides members with introductory engineering presentations, and guides them in assembling VEX IQ Robotics kits.
With support from Dawgma, JCHAI residents are able to carry valuable understanding of STEM concepts into the job market. Compared to 30% nationally, 83% of JCHAI residents find employment, many in STEM related fields.
